A candidate for direct recruitment must possess M.B.B.S. degree of a university recognised by the Medical Council of India. A Candidate who possess a post-gradute Degree/ Diploma in Medical or Health Sciences in a particular subject of a University recognized by the Medical Council of India or the Uttar Pradesh Medical Council shall be given preference in the matter of direct recruitment. In addition to this, it is also necessary to be completed one year rotary internship till the last date of receipt of application form.

Age Limit:

21 to 40 years (upper age limit of reserved category candidates shall be relaxable as per rules).

After filling in the Candidates ‘Registration’ format of the On-line application, the candidate shall procure the print-out of the E-challan in duplicate. The E-Challan will be used to deposit the fee in any of the branches of State Bank of India or Punjab National Bank by the candidate according to his category. The fee will not be allowed to be deposited by any other mode except E-Challan. The above fee, according to the category, is as under:-
1-    Unreserved (General)         –    Exam fee Rs.80/- + On-line processing fee Rs.15/-     Total = Rs.95/-

Ayurvedic / Homeopathic Doctors : Candidate must possess valid degree (BAMS / BSAM / BHMS) from colleges recognized by Homeopathy / Ayurved council of Gujarat and must be registered with Homeopathy / Ayurved council of Gujarat.

Remuneration : Rs. 23,000 / Month for Tribal Taluka & Identified difficult to reach Areas, Rs. 20,000 / Month for Rural Areas and Rs. 18,000 / Month for Urban Areas i.e for Municipality and Corporation Areas.

Pharmacists cum Data Assistant : Candidate must possess valid bachelor degree from colleges recognized by pharmacy Council of Gujarat and must be registered with pharmacy Council of Gujarat. S/he must be computer proficient for data management.

Remuneration : Rs. 11,000 / Month for Tribal Taluka & Identified difficult to reach Areas, Rs. 10,000 / Month for Rural Areas and Rs. 8,500 / Month for Urban Areas i.e for Municipality and Corporation Areas.

1. GDMO – II:

  • A recognized medical qualification included in the First or second Schedule (Other than licentiate qualification) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of qualifications included in part-II of the third schedule should also fill the condition stipulated in Sub section (3) of Schedule 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956
  • DMC Registration of Academic qualification as above.

2. Dental Surgeon: (I)

  • A degree qualification include in Part-I or Part-II of the schedule of the Dentists Act, 1948.
  • 3 year’s experience of Dentist work in a hospital or in private practice.
  • Should be registered with a Dental Council.

Desirable :  Post Graduate qualification in Dentistry from a recognized University or equivalent.

3. Lab Assistant:

  • Matriculate pass with Science subject from a recognized University/ Board/School or equivalent.
  • Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology from a recognized institution or equivalent.

4. Operation Theatre Assistant:

  • Matriculate pass from a recognized University/Board/School or equivalent.
  • Two years Operation Theatre experience in a reputed hospital.

5. X – Ray Assistant:

  • Matriculate pass with science subject from a recognized University/Board/School or equivalent.
  • Certificate in Radiology/Radiography from a recognized Institution or equivalent.

Age Limit:

Candidates age limit should be 35 years for GDMO – II, Dental Surgeon Posts, 27 years for Lab Assistant, Operation Theatre Asst, X – Ray Asst Posts.
